Blockchain Australia Policy Forum – Day 1

Tax On Chain had the privilege of attending Day 1 of the Blockchain Australia Policy Forum.
Mat Merlehan from our team engaged in discussions surrounding the appropriate tax laws regarding blockchain and digital assets with other leading tax professionals and a representative from the Australian Taxation Office.
These discussions will lead to a formal submission made to the ATO including our proposed solutions for fairer and logical crypto tax legislation in Australia.
We thank Amy-Rose Goodey, Simon Callaghan and the team at Blockchain Australia for encouraging these discussions.
